In 2017 there are about 420 Green Bay Area High School Students sharing a day of their Summer Physical Education with GBSP throughout 15 sessions. Other schools throughout CESA 7 are invited as well. If you know of a school program that would like to sign up for our 2017 program, send us an email at info@gbsail.com and we will contact them and find an open session for their class.

Intro to Sailing

This is an introductory sailing session combining a "quick-start" method of learning to sail Hobie Wave catamarans. In a short period of time, we get students of all ages sailing at a basic level on the waters of Green Bay. If there is no wind there may be kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. Upon bad weather, we have a safe, fun-filled indoor program for the participants. While encouraging individual challenge and growth we look forward to enjoying a fun and safe day on the water!

What to bring:
  • Old tennis shoes or water shoes *Very important because of zebra mussels!!
  • A completed & signed waiver
  • Sunscreen
  • Swimming Suit
  • Towel
  • Water bottle full of water/ beverage
  • Snack
  • Dry clothes
  • We provide life jackets but students may bring their own if they wish!
