Using a proven "quick-start" method, participants will learn the basics of sailing aboard Hobie® Wave catamarans. With hands-on guidance from experienced instructors, you'll gain the confidence to navigate the waters of Green Bay on your own in no time. Two date options:

Couples Night Navigate Together, Drift Closer
Discover a new lifetime activity to enjoy with your special someone. Your evening for two includes an introductory sailing session combining a "quick-start" method of learning to sail Hobie® Wave catamarans. The evening begins with a short introduction followed by sailing with your sweetheart on the Bay of Green Bay. After your sail, you can head over to Paradise North Distillery for some cocktails with a $15 gift certificate. Finish off your evening on the beach enjoying the sunset. (weather permitting).

Basic Sailing Next Step in Sailing
Take your sailing skills to the next level with Basic Sailing, designed for those who have completed our Intro to Sailing course or have prior basic sailing experience. In this comprehensive class, participants will refine their techniques, focusing on proper sail trimming for various wind conditions. With hands-on practice and guidance from our certified instructors, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to become a more proficient sailor. This 18-hour course is divided into six engaging sessions, allowing plenty of time to practice and master new skills on the water. Expand your knowledge, improve your technique, and enjoy the thrill of sailing like never before!

Tuesday Night Racing Sailing as a Sport
Learn how sailing can be a competitive sport through participating in Tuesday night racing at Windjammers Sailing Club in Suamico. During these races, you will learn from experienced sailors on a 26' S2 sailboat the rules of the road when it comes to navigating with other boats and rounding marks. Over the course of the season, you may also have the opportunity to serve as race "crew" on other boats! To participate in this program, we ask that you have been sailing before through one of our classes or on your own; given the intense nature that can occur with sailboat racing.
Dates: Tuesday nights from June 3rd to August 12th (there may be some nights we may not race) | Time: 5:00pm – 9:00pm each day | Fee: $0 (due to a generous donation)

Winds & Waves Weekly Sailing Set Sail for Adventure
This is a new flexible program for 2025 designed for sailors of different skill levels. Each
week, we will cover a unique sailing topic. This provides a great opportunity to gain
more “tiller time” if a sailor wants to sail independently with a little coaching if desired.
Sailors will also have the chance to sail on additional boats than just the Hobie® Wave
catamarans if conditions permit.

Intro to Kayaking Paddle with Confidence, Explore with Ease
This is a fun, introductory kayaking session using a "quick-start" method of learning to kayak. In a short period of time students, ages 8 and over, participating in our introductory course are out on the waters of Green Bay kayaking on their own.

W.O.W. (Women on the Water) Empower, Explore, Embrace the Waves
Embark on a transformative journey of empowerment, adventure, and camaraderie with our W.O.W. (Women on the Water) sailing course. Exclusively designed for women, this course provides the perfect blend of learning, fun, and connection. Whether you're new to sailing or looking to refine your skills, our experienced coaches will guide you every step of the way as you explore the joys of life on the water. Open to women of all skill levels, ages 18 and up. Build confidence, master new skills, and forge lasting friendships in this unique and empowering sailing experience.
Day 1: Enjoy a social outing aboard an auxiliary-powered cruising sailboat, designed to ease you into the sailing experience.
Day 2: Transition to a Hobie® Wave catamaran for a hands-on, skill-building adventure on the water.
